BMA House accessibility statement

BMA House is committed to providing a venue with good accessibility for all.

BMA House itself:

  • is fully accessible in all areas bar two - unfortunately there is no access to the stage in the Great Hall or to the upper level of our garden, although alternative options can be discussed.  Please note that there are chair lifts to access our third floor meeting rooms.
  • has low level counters on our reception desk and catering buffets
  • offers an assisted service in our Garden Café.
  • has disabled access toilets on all floors.
  • runs handrails on both sides of the stairwells.
  • equips all meeting rooms and our reception with induction loops (some are portable and can be requested in advance).
  • welcomes assistance dogs

At BMA House we want to ensure your visit is as pleasant as possible; in order to help you plan your visit we have created an accessibility guide which you can view at the link on our BMA website found here. Please feel free to contact our Events team in advance of your visit or during your time with us to discuss any special requests.

  • we’ve got excellent transport links with step free access at Kings Cross mainline and underground station, just ten minutes away and many buses serve the area.
  • onsite disabled parking – limited spaces so please notify us of your requirements in advance
  • BMA House has negotiated rates with local hotels just minutes away with accessible bedrooms and guest facilities.
