“The ISBA decided to move its larger training events to BMA House in 2014 because of the excellent range of facilities and room space that it offers. We now run all of our one-day conferences there, with numbers ranging from 100 up to 290.
Over the years we’ve had a couple of dedicated Event Managers, our most recent being Sasha Dearden, however each and every one has given us superb customer service. Sasha has always provided me with information when requested in a timely and professional manner. On the day of the event Sasha is present in person and is even happy to be there for 7.30am starts.
Catering for our large numbers has never been an issue as we are able to spread catering and our many exhibition stands over the two beautiful rooms on the ground floor, and our delegates can make use of the stunning Courtyard in the summer. Their friendly AV team are always on hand to help with last minute presentation changes, and when our group splits out into breakout rooms the AV team know us well enough now so the equipment is always set up just how we require it. We have been so pleased with the success of our events at BMA House we have booked future dates. I certainly have no hesitation in recommending this venue.”

“I have worked with the BMA House events team for c. nine years now, since we first approached them re: holding our AGM. The service we received from the outset was very professional, accommodating and efficient, leading to a very successful first AGM at BMA House. Due to this success, we decided to use the venue again and as I said, nine years on we are still coming back.
Big events like an AGM can be very stressful to arrange, due to all of the mechanics and number of attendees involved, however, Victoria and her predecessors have always ensured our event runs smoothly, always recommending alternative options from menus, to wine etc, to improve our event.
Unlike other venues, the events team also oversee the meeting itself, rather than delegating to operational colleagues, and the personal touch makes a huge difference too.
Everyone I’ve met at the venue has been friendly, approachable but above all willing to help which makes my life a lot easier. We’ve been appointed the same dedicated AV Technician each year, so our AV needs are taken care of with ease.
Many of our shareholders are elderly however BMA House is well equipped with accessible access throughout, and we make full use of the induction loop in the Great Hall.
We are always well catered for and the catering team are always ready on time.
I cannot foresee us taking our meeting anywhere else any time soon.”

“BMA House has the wow factor. As soon as you walk into The Courtyard it leaves a big first impression. We wanted a venue that had outdoor space, with somewhere that could cater for the unpredictable UK weather and offer indoor space (if needed). Ultimately that was the deciding factor for us.
The food! The canapes and the bowl food were a massive hit!
We opted for a food tasting. We already knew what we liked the sound of as the menu offers a variety of food and covers everything you need. We ended up sticking with the options we picked from our first look at the menu. The fish and chips won hands down for me!
Hannah and the events team were so easy to work with and made the process a lot less stressful. It was so nice to know the logistics at the venue were in hand.
