Purpose-built to facilitate interactive debates, AGMs, and presentations, the Council chamber is BMA House’s most technologically-impressive space. It comprises 88 theatre-style seats – each with individual push-to-talk mics, laptop connectivity and live voting buttons – plus a nine-seat hosting panel. As well as having state-of-the-art AV equipment, the room also benefits from large, dual aspect windows which offer fantastic views over both The Courtyard to the front and our botanic Garden to the rear.
The Council chamber can be booked as a main meeting room space but will need to be hired with the neighbouring Princes or Worcester rooms for catering. It can also be hired in conjunction with various other rooms within BMA House as part of a larger conference. Situated on the first floor, the space is fully accessible and has an induction loop.
